A gyerek abba tanul bele, ami nap mint nap körülveszi őt. Ha ülőhelyet lát valahol, azonnal le fog ülni. Ha nem ül, akkor valamire támaszkodik. Akár ül, akár áll az ember, nem mindegy, hogy milyen módon teszi. Ha azt látja a gyerek, hogy mindenki gyorsan fal körülötte, dönti magába az innivalót, miért ne tenné ő is ugyanazt? Tetszik, vagy sem, a gyermek a család tükre.
A test biológiailag úgy áll össze, hogy az anyagfeldolgozás minősége, az anyagcsere hatékonysága a külsőn megmutatkozik. A genetikai adottságokon túl, „amilyen a belbecs, olyan lesz a külcsín”. Az anyagcserét azonban nem csak a táplálkozás minőségi mutatói befolyásolják! Meghatározó az is, hogy jut a gyomorba az étel, vagy milyen minőségű a rágás. De az is hatással van az anyagcserére, hogy milyen minőségű a légzés, vagy éppen mennyit mozog az illető.
